Meanwhile, East Japan Railway (9020.T) has reported suspensions in Tokyo area rail services, warning that further disruptions could occur throughout the day.
Toyota Motor, listed as 7203.T on the market, temporarily shut down its domestic facilities on Wednesday morning before deciding to restart production that evening. Meanwhile, Suzuki Motor, with a listing of 7269.T, also suspended operations at all five plants in Shizuoka Prefecture, located west of Tokyo, only to plan resumption later in the day.
