In the nearby settlement of Tzur Natan, two members of the local defense team thwarted an attack by a lone Arab individual, as confirmed by Prime Minister Netanyahu. The pair's swift action safeguarded the community from potential harm.

The individuals' attire, specifically their dress code, remained unclear initially.

Three individuals, estimated to be between thirty and forty years old, along with a sixty-one-year-old woman, were also injured in the incident.

Upon arriving at the scene, Walid Diwani, a seasoned paramedic, reported witnessing a male individual lying motionless near the fuel dispensing area, where several individuals were attempting to provide aid.

Paramedics were tending to the initial victim when they received reports of a second injured individual inside a nearby eatery. Upon investigation, Mr. Diwani discovered a severely wounded male in that location.

Mr. Diwani described the individual as visibly shaken, struggling to breathe.

Paramedic Lior Zilberberg recounted discovering two casualties, a man and a woman, at the entrance to Tzur Yitzhak, a close-knit community adjacent to Kochav Yair. Meanwhile, paramedics located Mr. Kalomiti in a vehicle near Tzur Natan, where he was tragically pronounced dead on the scene.
