Fahd Abu Haikal, the father of the baby, claimed that while driving through Tel Rumeida near Hebron in the West Bank, he stopped his car when spotting soldiers on the road ahead. A soldier standing just 10 meters away then fired a shot through the windshield after the vehicle had already come to a complete stop.
Fahd recounted to reporters on Saturday that a single bullet had pierced his arm before hitting his son's head and his wife's face through the front windshield.
