Initially listed as questionable for the contest, Sabrina Ionescu had been absent from action for three consecutive games. Her season got off to a slow start due to an injured foot, forcing her to miss the first five contests. In New York's loss to the Dallas Wings on May 24, she managed 11 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in a game that ended with a score of 91-76.
