A formal complaint has been submitted by FairSquare, a human rights organization, to FIFA's ethics committee. This grievance centers on Infantino presenting Donald Trump with a "peace prize", prompting the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) to request an assessment of potential statute breaches regarding political impartiality.

Klaveness stated that the complaint has generated some notable political responses. The association's actions are now being scrutinized, with further steps to be taken once the World Cup concludes. Meetings will be requested, and progress will be pursued relentlessly afterwards.
