The funding of Medicaid differs from Medicare, as it's shared between state and federal governments, whereas Medicare is solely federally funded. A total of $200 million in grants has been allocated to states for the program's rollout.

To accommodate medical exceptions, state authorities are required to review health insurance records to assess eligibility for exemptions.

Oz emphasizes the gravity of dishonesty in self-attestation, warning that consequences will be severe. Enforcement agencies will be informed to clarify that such actions are taken seriously.
