Azerbaijan's Absheron gas-condensate field is set for its second development phase to be completed by the end of 2026, according to TotalEnergies' plans in the region.
TotalEnergies' Managing Director in Azerbaijan, Emmanuel de Guillebon, has announced plans to initiate the second development stage of the Absheron gas-condensate field by the end of 2026.

The wells are anticipated to yield approximately 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent daily output.

New wells are expected to yield approximately 70% of their total production as gas, with condensate accounting for the balance at 30%.
A 140-kilometer pipeline will be built straight from the field to the coast, bypassing offshore processing facilities entirely.
Gas exports to Turkey through the South Caucasus Pipeline are planned, alongside meeting local demand in Azerbaijan's domestic market as stated by de Guillebon.
